Simple Ways to Treat Pimples

Hello my LOVES ♥

It's summer time and there is one problem that we all are having "OILY SKIN" which is leading to a much bigger problem

"PIMPLES"

We have to accept the fact that our skins are not perfect and it needs a lot of care and love to look it's best... So here are some simple ways to treat your pimples

Tip 1

Water
I am sure you have heard of it a million time but it's true "WATER" is like your soul sister. It's extremely essential to keep your body hydrated !

Tip 2

Tea Tree Oil
I swear by this "TEA TREE OIL" - my best friend! It has unique disinfecting and soothing properties and, unlike other acne treatments, tea tree oil will not strip your skin of its natural oils and cause further damage.

Tip 3

Lemon juice is a miracle beauty product from your kitchen. Apart from removing tan, did you know that it works as natural bleach and kills bacteria? Pimples form due to bacteria and lemon disinfects the skin. It can also remove or reduce marks from older pimples.

Tip 4
Ice
Of course, ice is a basic first aid for any sort of skin emergency, and this includes pimples! It soothes and calms the area so that your face doesn’t look all angry and red.
Wrap the ice in a piece of cloth & hold it on the affected skin area for a few seconds. Wait few minutes & repeat the process again.

Apply the ice multiple times throughout the day and the pimple should resolve in just a day or two.
Tip 5

Toothpaste
The toothpaste that you use every morning to clean your teeth also can be used to treat pimples quickly. It is most effective when used following the ice remedy. You must use white toothpaste; avoid using gel toothpaste. Apply some white toothpaste over the affected skin area before going to bed. In the morning, wash your face with water and you will see a significant improvement in the swelling.
Tip 6

Disprin or Asprin
Apart from getting rid of your headache, Disprin or any kind of aspirin can also help. Crush the pill, or scrap it into a dust using clean scissors. Mix it with a bit of water to make a paste and apply it on to the pimple. Let it dry – it will make the pimple smaller and remove redness.

Tip 7
Honey
In addition to being delicious, honey is a natural antibiotic which makes it perfect for healing and reducing pimples. As an added bonus its stickiness helps to remove excess dirt and impurities from your skin. You can utilize honey by making a simple mask. To do this, mix two tablespoons of the golden elixir with a teaspoon of cinnamon and apply it to your face. Yes, it may get messy. Allow the mixture to set for roughly ten minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

Tip 8
No Popping !!!
I’ll admit that I’m guilty of popping a pimple or ten in my time, but you need to try and fight the urge! As tempting and gratifying as it may be at the time, it’s the worst possible thing you could do. Firstly, it further inflames the area which means that it can result in scarring. Secondly, popping causes the bacteria living in the pimple to spread to other pores, thus infecting them too. Ironically, this can easily result in even more pimples. Just don’t do it!

There are many ways to get rid of pimples but these 8 are the ones I have tried.
Do let me know which tip worked for you!

xoxo, Aastha
